The Season of “NO”

The Season of “NO.”

This spring and summer has been the spring/summer of “NO.” No worship services, no youth camps, no Vacation Bible Schools, no baseball leagues, no organized sports, no state or county fairs, no family reunions, no funeral services, and the list goes on.

Now let’s look at some of the “No’s” in God’s word. Specifically for believers, these promises are valid, true, to be embraced, and shared.

Rev. 22:5         No night in heaven.

            Rev. 22:3         No more curse.

Rev. 21:4         No death, no grief, no crying, no pain.

Rev. 20:6         The second death has no power over believers!

Rev. 20:3         No more deception from Satan.

Romans 8:1    No condemnation to those in Christ.

Luke 1:33        No end to God’s kingdom.

Romans 6:6    No longer a slave to sin.

John 10:28      No one can take a believer out of God’s protective hand.

John 14:6        No one comes to the Father but through Jesus.

In our perspective, No, is a negative word. In God’s perspective, No can be for our best. Let’s remember to look for the positives during this time of NO.

Living for His Return,
